Our AGM will be held on Thursday 6th October in the small hall at Moot House, The Stow at 6.30pm for a 7pm start. The agenda and papers will be sent out nearer the time.
We will have Geoffrey Payne as our speaker. Geoffrey is the author of the book ‘Somewhere to Live – Rising to the global land and housing challenge’ and of a blog on the UK Housing Crisis. We are looking forward to his views on housing issues and are sure he will be a stimulating speaker. We hope you will be able to come along and hear him.
We also invite you to join our Autumn walk on Saturday 8th October. The walk, of about 3 miles, will start and finish at Harlow Museum, Muskham Road departing at 10.30am. All are welcome and there is no charge.
Our destination will be Harlow Town Park via a circuitous route that takes in some of the town’s sculptures and historic buildings as well as the brilliant park, where refreshment can be taken.
On the return leg the walk leader John Curry will be posing a question that has been puzzling him for some time; think Family Group locations!
We will return to the museum where, if we have enough energy left we can explore the delightful gardens and the excellent museum.
This is a repeat of the summer walk, which a number of people were not able to attend.
Car parking is available at the Museum. It is free but limited in capacity.
good information to broaden my horizons but if there is any other information if you can let me know
