It was recently announced that four sites in Harlow have won Green Flag awards for 2021/22. The awards have gone to: Parndon Wood Nature Reserve, the Town Park, the Harlow Museum Walled Gardens and Harlow Mill. Staff and volunteers at the first three sites are pictured above.
It’s the 13th award for Parndon Wood, 6th for the Town Park, 5th for Harlow Mill and the 2nd for Harlow Museum Walled Gardens.
The Green Flag Awards scheme recognises well-managed parks and green spaces, setting the benchmark standard for the management of recreational green spaces across the UK and around the world,
We are so fortunate to have these wonderful places recognised as among the best green spaces in the world.
This is only possible with all the staff and volunteers who work very hard to help keep these places so magnificently.
Congratulations to everyone involved!
