It was recently announced that four sites in Harlow have won Green Flag awards for 2020/21.
It’s the 12th for Parndon Wood, 5th for the Town Park, 4th for Harlow Mill and a first for Harlow Museum Walled Gardens.
The Green Flag Awards scheme recognises well-managed parks and green spaces, setting the benchmark standard for the management of recreational green spaces across the UK and around the world,
We are so fortunate to have these wonderful places recognised as among the best green spaces in the world.
This is great news for Harlow and comes on top of the recent Grade II listing for our Town Park.
This is only possible with all the volunteers who work very hard to help keep these places so magnificently.
Congratulations to everyone involved!
