A message to Harlow Civic Society members from Michael Beard, Head of External Community Engagement (Science Hub) at Public Health England.
Public Health England is about to enter the next significant stage of the programme to create our new public health science campus and headquarters at Harlow.
In July, we will be submitting a final planning application to Harlow Council setting out in detail the facilities and functions we will be building, as well as how the site will operate and the benefits the campus will deliver for Harlow and the surrounding area.
As a key local stakeholder, we’re keen to engage with the society prior to that submission, to share our latest plans, designs and timelines, and to listen to any questions and feedback you have.
Normally, we would be inviting you to join us in person at a public exhibition. However, for obvious reasons, that is not possible, so we will be hosting a virtual public exhibition online.
Invitation to attend virtual public exhibition
You are invited to attend our VIP private preview session for key stakeholders on Thursday 4 June from 5 – 7pm. This will give you the opportunity to view the latest plans for the site, submit your feedback via an online survey and ask questions to the project team via a live chat. We will endeavour to answer questions straight away, however, for those which require additional technical input we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
The virtual preview exhibition can be accessed from Thursday 4 June at www.preview.PHEHarlow.com.
If, for any reason, you’re not able to join the preview session on Thursday 4 June, there are more opportunities to visit the virtual exhibition and speak to the project team on the live chat. On Friday 5 June from 2 – 7pm and on Saturday 6 June from 10am – 2pm, we’ll be open to the general public at www.PHEHarlow.com.
The public virtual exhibition will remain open until Friday 19 June, during which time you can submit your feedback.

We look forward to welcoming you to our virtual public exhibition.
