Our next talk will be on the 25th July from 1930 to 2100 at the Harlow Museum.

Jake Shepherd will present findings from his research with Harlow residents about their memories of Harlow’s anniversary celebrations.

Archive/contemporary materials from this dissertation’s research into Harlow’s 40th (1987) and 70th (2017) anniversary commemorations will be displayed throughout the event. This will form the basis of a short presentation (40 minutes) before an open discussion in which audience members are welcome to share their own memories as well as bringing along their own memorabilia and photographs.

Afterwards, there will be an opportunity for Questions & Answers (Q&A) before allowing time for everyone to view and/or contribute to the display. Audience members are free to stay for as much or as little of the event as they wish.
