This was planned for Thursday 23 April, but will be postponed. We will update when the new date is known.
We expect the walk to last about an hour and a half – we are hoping to then take in a visit to the Enterprise Zone/Science Park in Maypole Boulevard, to view the new buildings there, as well as the new sculpture. It will be mainly on the flat, but will last about two hours at a reasonable walking pace with several stops along the way to see buildings and views.
We will be meeting at the square in front of NewGrounds the cafe that’s recently opened. It’s just off The Chase as you approach the Newhall Project Office.
The walk will be led by Mathew Byatt from the Newhall Project, who also led our previous Newhall tour, some five years ago.
The plan is to walk mainly round the newer eastern part, including the Primary school and the Montesorri nursery and maybe the residential HADA winners.
