Bandstand Drop-In Sessions
Harlow Council is hosting two informal drop-in sessions this week as part of their community engagement for the bandstand.
This is an opportunity to share what the bandstand means to you and to contribute ideas for the bandstand’s future role in the town. There will not be any formal speeches or presentations; they just want to hear from residents and local groups and schools.
If you cannot attend in-person, the Council will be launching an online engagement shortly. Please see the Council’s social media and website for updates on this.
Films at The Playhouse
You may have attended the showing of some films about Harlow last year that we jointly organised with Chris Skipworth, a reasearcher at UEA.
Chris has organised a further showing of four films highlighting post war changes in Britain focusing on the built environment. This includes the 1964 film ‘Faces of Harlow’.
The event is on Friday 31st October at 7pm to 9pm.
